Biography

Since 2003, Maître Edouard Laddy Tshishimbi Mpamba has worked as a lawyer. He joined PLA & Associates in 2021 after working as an associate lawyer at Emery Mukendi Wafwana & Associates for many years.

Mr. E.Laddy Tshishimbi Mpamba obtained his LLM (Master of Laws degree) in International Business Law from the VU Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 2023. During his studies, he focused on Commercial Contracts, with a particular emphasis on Mergers and Acquisitions contracts, E-commerce, Private Equity, the Blockchain technology, Fintech and the Smart Contracts.

Within his professional sphere, he actively engages in various domains of Business Law including Corporate Law in the OHADA Region, Investment Law, Public Procurement, Legal evaluation of Projects, Corporate Restructuring, E-commerce, Mining Law, Hydrocarbon Law, Real estate Law, Judicial and administrative Litigation Practice, as well as International Arbitration.

Mr. Tshishimbi has experience in International Criminal Law because of his prior work as a law clerk at the prosecutor's office at the International Criminal Court in The Hague (Netherlands) in 2007. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Guest Lecturer at the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. He speaks English, French, Dutch.

Maître Edouard Laddy Tshishimbi also holds a degree in Private and Judicial Law from the University of Lubumbashi where he graduated in 2002.
