Biographie

Mr. Lionnel Umba Mavungu is an attorney-at-law registered at the Bar Association of the Court of Appeal of Kinshasa/Matete in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2022.

In 2021, he joined Pathy Liongo & Associates Law Firm, SCP ("PLA LAW FIRM"), an international African law firm with offices in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa and Matadi), South Africa (Johannesburg), and the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), where he started working as a paralegal.

As a discreet, loyal, dedicated, persevering and professionally motivated Attorney-at-law, he advises, assists and represents national and international, public and private clients in the areas of business law, contracts, insurance, banking and finance, subcontracting, labor, energy, new information technologies and telecommunications and maritime.

In his litigation practice, he advises and assists clients in various proceedings before the courts and tribunals of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

He holds a Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in public law from the University of Lubumbashi. He is fluent in French and English, works in both languages and is a sworn expert translator.
